Video-sharing platform Bilibili has broken out of its singular focus on anime, comics, and games and gone fully mainstream in recent years.

The platform has more than 267 million monthly active users (MAUs) and is expected to surpass 400 million MAUs by 2023. Yet rising marketing costs, mounting debt, and pressure from Beijing regulators have sent Bilibili shares into freefall over the past 10 months, making it a potential chance for Buy.

The underlying value for this company had not chaned.

As far as Chinese technology companies go, Bilibili is better suited to withstand the challenges associated with the limitations placed by the Chinese government because it mainly serves a Chinese Gen-Z audience, who have demonstrated strong consumption of gaming and entertainment media provided by Bilibili, despite the limitations placed on screen time. In addition, after a correction from the bullish trading patterns seen in the beginning of 2021, Bilibili seems like it may be set for stable growth. We are taking a smaller position in Bilibili now, and will follow closely for a possible expansion.
