I am investing in the GRID ETF because it tracks the market-cap-weighted index of global equities in the smart grid and electrical energy infrastructure sector. I believe that this will perform strong with the world realizing the need to invest and develop green energy and technology solutions. The Index is reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced quarterly which means it is actively managed and will be a safe investment. One of the top holdings of the fund is Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR), the Texas-based power infrastructure company. According to Yahoo Finance this is a good long-term investments and will meld nicely with the other ETFs I invested in.

First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge Smart Grid Infrastructure Index Fund is ESG fund focusing on grid and electrical energy infrastructure industries. GRID has performed well in the during the last year and the growth is expected to continue. Good addition to our portfolio.
