Intel is a technology company that is the world’s largest semiconductor chip manufacturer by revenue. Intel supplies microprocessors for computer system manufacturers and manufactures various other components related to communications and computing. Intel remains dominant in consumer computing chips and data center and server products. While Intel may underperform the market in the short term, being a technology stock, we believe that in the long-term Intel will continue innovating and fulfilling clientele needs.

The recent Chinese chip ban by the US exempts certain countries operating in China, and Intel is one of them. In addition, with the worldwide chip shortage and Intel's slump with the rest of the stock market hopefully wearing off, I expected intel to perform well through the 4th quarter, and now is the time to buy. -SH
