Very steady growth, as well as adding exposure to Russia to our portfolio. With soaring oil prices, Russia is well positioned to grow over our short time horizon

Increasing position with the same rationale as before following further news about the increasing price of oil and increasing strength of the ruble. According to Sharma, Russia's long term growth may actually be inhibited by a dependance on export of oil, a commodity whose profitability is heavily influenced by the state of world market shifts. With oil prices soaring, looking toward Russian markets looks extremely attractive, and this ETF is a great way to gain exposure to the energy markets that make up 60% of their total GDP. Highest holding by % is Gazprom, the largest energy company in Russia. As EM rebound along with commodities, and winter comes, this is a perfectly poised investment to succeed in the next few months

Investing because there have been consistent positive returns over the past year. The ETF bounced back quickly after the collapse of COVID. Rather than concentrating in specific companies in Russia, we have chosen to invest passively in an ETF that invests in many stocks
