only +2% return in the past quarter, but a good, safe ETF for expanding portfolio and offsetting some risk. Expense ratio 0.10%, dividend yield just over 2%

Vanguard has always been one of the highest performing ETFs in recent memory due to their wide range of investments and diversity around. This is based off of their recent performance and the overall positive trend of Emerging Markets right now because of investment post pandemic. We think this trade will be a low risk with a good return investment that can help diversify and lower the risk of our portfolio.

We think adding an index fund to our portfolio is a good way to ensure diversification. VWO is especially diversified as it includes companies across all market caps, including particularly attractive titans such as BABA and TSM. We see this index as a good way of investing in these titans (TSM is particularly attractive) while reducing the volatility associated with these investments. VWO is currently trading low, and has performed steadily compared to other emerging market funds.
